Why do we need the Annual Fund?

Warner Avenue School is not in an area that is deemed “high need”, and that means that Warner operates with a lower budget per student than the average LAUSD school. The Warner Annual Fund closes the gap between what is needed to support our students with a well-rounded, achievement-focused educational environment and the bare minimum covered by LAUSD.

The Annual Fund is vitally important to the education of all Warner Avenue School students. The Annual Fund—NOT LAUSD—pays for the enrichment programs and enhancements—programs that helped Warner earn its California Distinguished School award.

What does the Annual Fund pay for?

Standard Donation - $2,000 per child

  • Fund your child’s portion of WAVE expenses, including smaller class sizes, enrichment from qualified instructors, yard security and safety staff, TAs in classrooms. Recognition on donor banner.

Wildcat - Standard donation for each child plus $850

  • Halloween Haunt $250 Level Sponsorship: Name recognition, wristband & tickets, t-shirt & hat bundle.
  • Spring Gala Sponsorship at the $500 Level: 2 tickets to the Spring Gala and name recognition as an event sponsor.
  • Warner Walk Sponsorship at the $100 Level: T-shirt & hat bundle and name recognition.
  • Recognition of “Wildcat” donor level on annual banner.

Wildcat Circle - $10,000 family sponsorship

  • Winter and Spring Sing: Four Priority Reserved Tickets.
  • Halloween Haunt $1500 Level Sponsorship: Booth named for your business/family, wristbands & tickets, t-shirt & hat bundle.
  • Spring Gala Sponsorship at the $500 Level: 2 tickets to the Spring Gala with VIP bottle service and recognition as an event sponsor.
  • Warner Walk Sponsorship at the $250 Level: T-shirt & hat bundle and Warner Walk Wall of Fame Recognition.
  • Recognition of “Wildcat Circle” donor level on annual banner.
  • Personalized water bottle for your Warner Wildcat child(ren).

Double or Triple Your Annual Fund Contribution with Matching Gifts!

Corporate matching gift programs are a great way to double or triple your gift to the Annual Fund. Many corporations match your generosity dollar for dollar. This is a free and easy way to make your contribution go further.
