Through our “Friends of Warner” program, there are NEW sponsorship opportunities that will give you tons of exposure not just to the Warner parents, but to our entire neighborhood.
BrainPop covers topics within Science, Math, Social Studies, English Language Arts, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Music, Health, Reading, and Writing. The content is carefully mapped to the Common Core, aligned to academic standards, and searchable with the online Standards Tool.
Hundreds of topics are all brought to life through short, animated movies and related interactive quizzes, timelines, charts, writing/vocabulary activities, graphic organizers, and much more.

We are excited to inform you that we will be providing an IN-PERSON space in the Westwood area for your children during the school hours and after school. We want to help your students navigate their “Zoom Classroom” and to help them develop the study skills needed for this new way of learning. We want to bring the joy of having a variety of enrichment programs that will inspire the students to learn and explore. More importantly, we believe these new experiences and discoveries will connect them to the world outside and boost their self-confidence as they master new skills.
Location – 1651 Westwood Blvd., 2nd & 3rd floors only (NW corner of Westwood Blvd. & Massachusetts) between Wilshire & Santa Monica Blvd.
Start Date: Monday, August 31, 2020
Grades: TK thru 5th grade
-In Person (School Hours) Time; 8:00am to 3:00pm Price; $2,250 / month (less than $15/hr.)
-In Person (Full Time) Time; 8:00am to 6:00pm Price; $2,400 / month (less than $11/hr.)
-In Person (After School) Time; 3:00pm to 6:00pm Price; $550 / month (less than $9/hr.)
-In Person (Morning Only) Time; 8:00am to 12:00pm Price; $1,300 / (limited space available – priority to full time students.)
There is a monthly commitment, and at this time there are only the time options above.
All food for Lunch / snacks / etc. will be provided by You.
Regarding Masks – YES! Masks will be required for both the students and the Staff. As well as 6ft distancing / hand washing / daily temp check / using your own supplies.
Regarding Tutoring – There will be instructors to help facilitate the students with “Zoom Classroom” and help to answer questions as they may arise, as well as help with the classroom assignments. Instructors will also have additional activities to keep our younger students engaged
Regarding group size – STAR is using the guidelines from the CDC with small group sizes, presently the CDC guidelines is up to 10 students in a group.
Due to of all the interest I have received, I am confident that we will meet the minimum number of students to make this possible for the Families who live in the Westwood Area. Thank you for your understanding and patience as we put together the formal registration information.

As a former Warner Parent I understand there is a “new anxiety” in sending your students to an In-Person environment, I hope that I can make that transition as smooth as possible. I am available to answer questions, and I know there are many….
