Exciting news! Warner is now using the MySchoolAnywhere Parent Portal, for our family and faculty directories, volunteer village signups, and email communication! It is SECURE, easy to use, and free to families and faculty. Login/register now!
I hope you had a wonderful summer and have enjoyed the first two weeks of school! Welcome to the 2018-19 school year and the launch of the 2018-19 Warner Annual Fund drive.
The Annual Fund is Warner’s highest giving priority, as it bridges the gap between the basic, minimum funding provided to Warner by LAUSD and the essential 21st century resources, services, and equipment necessary to promote the highly successful learning environment at Warner Avenue School. Your contribution to the Annual Fund pays for, among other programs and enhancements, teaching assistants in each classroom and on the school yard, class size reduction teachers, writing and reading workshop programs, and helps ensure that computers, science, physical education, art, and music are deeply embedded in your child’s learning experience. It is because these programs and enhancements (among others) are paid for by the Annual Fund and not by LAUSD, that your donation to the Warner Annual Fund is so critical!
Please consider making your gift to the Annual Fund today, as each gift provides a direct and immediate benefit to our children! Contributions can be made via credit card or a check, and can be paid in full, or spread out over three, six, and nine-month installment plans. Donations are tax deductible and can be made by going to:
The Fall Book Fair continues through Wednesday, August 29th in the Mitchell Auditorium. It will also be opened during the Back to School Bonanza on Sunday, August 26th.
Please volunteer for a shift through the Warner Parent Portal. Contact Sherry Lavian with any questions at sklavian@yahoo.com.
